It's snowing!!!

Mother Nature finally graced us with some snow today. We got about 1-1/2 inches, which is a decent start!! We're supposed to get more before the end of next week so it looks like me and the hubby will be boarding either Friday or Saturday. I'm super stoked!!!

I'm really excited to see that some mountains are starting to get some fresh natural snow and are able to start snow making. The nagging for snow since June can now stop but I'm sure I'll still be bugging people by counting down until the next time I can go boarding.

Since mother nature still isn't cooperating with my snow pleades, I've decided to amp up my workouts for the week.


I did a Spin class this morning and was pleasantly surprised at how well I did considering it was only my 4th class ever.

Ski & Snowboard Expo: Through My Eyes

This weekend was the Ski & Snowboard Expo at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, NY. I decided to hit up the expo with my father in-law and unexpectedly had a better time than last year. We began our day by having a nice discussion with Kirt Zimmer from Wyndham Mountain. Lots of good stuff going on for then! If you get a chance, check out their mountain this season to see the goodies!
