Burton US Open 2010
The 2010 Burton US Open went down about a week ago and since then I've taken some time to reflect on what went down. Here's my take.
Olympic Bound..
After last night's Grand Prix in Park City, UT the official Olympic snowboarding team had been announced.
Shaun White, You Can Love Him or You Can Hate Him
Whether you are a fan of Shaun White or not, it's hard to deny that the guy is talented. I still can't get over how wicked his Double Cork McTwist 1260 is. I definitely had a "Holy Shit" moment watching the video. Shaun White can pretty much guarantee Olympic gold unless one of 2 things happen: he falls during his runs or another rider gets this trick on lock.

You can love him or you can hate him, but he's still pushing snowboarding to new limits. His attitude may suck, but his riding can be beyond unbelievable at times. I guess that 'secret' and private half-pipe did him some justice!
